How come we never framed our first dollar? Mazolli asks Terrastina at The Brew. Terrastina opens the cash register and pulls out a one. I’m pretty sure it looked like this, she says, handing it to Mazolli. I’m pretty sure you’re right, says Mazolli. He goes to the convenience store and buys the kind of plastic frame people use to display their school diplomas. When he returns to The Brew, he puts the dollar in the frame and hangs it on the wall over the espresso machine. I didn’t think it needed matting, he says. Good thinking, says Terrastina.
