Episode 306: Future Plans

Terrastina and Mazolli take the twins to a bird refuge. They share a pair of binoculars between them and point excitedly at great blue herons scooping up frogs from the water, sandhill cranes warbling overhead in tremendous flocks, and dozens of swans floating on the surface of the pond. They stop at a picnic table and eat sandwiches and bananas and drink bottled water. We’re going to learn how to fly, say the twins. Really? asks Terrastina. I’d like to see that, says Mazolli.
