Episode 367: This is What They Miss

A former Brew regular enters The Gallery wearing a black armband. He steps up to where the counter used to be and mimes placing an order. He pretends to pick up a hot cup of coffee and walks with it to a spot near the window. He pretends to open a newspaper and spends the next few minutes sipping from his imaginary cup and reading his imaginary funnies and sports section. Terrastina watches him the whole time. She claps and cheers when he finally gets up and walks out the door. Bravo, she says, bravo. Just lovely. Thank you.
