Episode 321: Audience Participation

Terrastina and Mazolli go to Story Time For Adults at the public library. They sit on the floor with the other parents. Most of them are uncomfortable and many are red faced. The twins stand in front of them. They hold up children’s books and pretend to read from them. When they are finished they say: The end. The parents clap their hands. Encore, encore, shouts Mazolli. The twins shush him. If you don’t settle down, they say, there will be no more stories. Mazolli sits back. Terrastina smiles at him. Can’t take you anywhere, can we? she says.
