Episode 26: Fair Trade

The doorbell rings. Mazolli answers it. A barefoot young man wearing yellow and orange shorts and sporting dark glasses with purple and green rims stands in front of him. Hey dude, he says, I’m in town for a few days to windsurf the river, you know? Could I park my van in your driveway? Mazolli looks past him to the curb where an old VW bus is parked. It displays wide yellow and green stripes. The fenders and the window frames are bright orange. Sure, says Mazolli, but only if you let me take your van for a spin.
