Episode 168: Cycles

The twins find a dead robin on the front steps. They run into the house and tell Terrastina. She comes out and scoops it into a small box. How did it die? they ask her. I don’t know, says Terrastina. Creatures just die. Maybe a cat killed it. But why didn’t the cat eat it? they ask. Good question, says Terrastina. It probably wasn’t a cat. They bury the robin in a small hole in the backyard. Now the worms and bugs will eat it, says one of the twins. Yes, says Terrastina. Thank goodness for worms and bugs.
