Episode 169: Things Were Different Then

The twins find a scrapbook of photographs, drawings, ticket stubs, doctor appointment cards, journal entries, pamphlets, and newspaper clippings entitled My Pregnant Year. They flip through it and see Terrastina’s belly get bigger and bigger. They laugh and laugh. Towards the end they find an ultrasound picture of themselves. They stop and stare at it for a long time. I think I remember that day, says one of them. You were kicking me for no reason. It really hurt. The other one nods. Yeah. I used to kick a lot. I don’t know why. I’m glad I don’t anymore.
