Episode 194: Inter-Species Communication

Terrastina goes to the city to talk to a gallery about displaying some of her art. After the meeting she buys some vegetarian sushi at a Japanese restaurant, extra wasabi, and takes it to a park where she sits on a bench and watches pigeons pecking at the grass. Terrastina eats her sushi slowly. The wasabi fumes climb up into her nose and make her eyes water. The pigeons stop shuffling. Terrastina stares at them gently, trying not to startle them with the wasabi, but the pigeons cannot look back. They spread their wings and take to the air.
