Terrastina finds shredded paper under the kitchen table. Hey Moz, she says. We got mice again. Where did we put those traps? Mazolli rummages around in a closet and pulls out several traps. Terrastina takes down a nearly empty jar of crunchy peanut butter from the cupboard. Not much here, she says, but it’ll be enough. They bait the traps with the peanut butter and set them around the house. After we catch them, says Terrastina, I know a nice field north of here I can take them to. It’s a long drive, but I know they’ll like it.
