Episode 146: Just Checking

A customer at The Brew asks if the town is safe. I think it is, says Terrastina. People live here because it’s safer than the city. Oh, says the customer. It’s just that a friend of mine came through here a while back and he got stabbed while he was hitchhiking. My friend was okay and everything, but it was still pretty scary. I remember your friend, says Terrastina. I did some first aid on him. Oh, says the customer, that was you? He thinks you’re like about the nicest person there ever was. He’s told me many times.
