Episode 129: Trade Off

I’m going to go sketch the Foster Ridge burn, says Terrastina. Do you want to take the twins? asks Mazolli. They’d get bored pretty quick, says Terrastina. Okay, says Mazolli, see you later. Terrastina drives to the burn and parks near blackened trees and walks into the still forest. She uses pieces of charcoal to draw columns of dead trees in her sketch pad. When she gets back home it is past dark. The twins are already in bed. How’d it go? asks Mazolli. I made a lot of drawings, says Terrastina. Good ones. But I missed the twins.
