Terrastina likes making portraits in the foam floating at the top of the lattes she serves at The Brew. She uses a straw to manipulate the foam. Customers love seeing miniature caricatures of themselves in their drinks. How did you do that? a man asks. I don’t think I can drink this now. I’d be destroying a work of art. Mazolli pulls out an instant camera and takes a picture of the foam. Here you are, he says, handing the photo to the man. Um, thanks, says the man. The three of them stand quietly, watching the picture develop.
