Episode 77: A Radish a Day

Terrastina’s garden is a legend in town. She starts planting in March and doesn’t stop until October. And even then she plants some winter vegetables. Through the summer months she brings her tomatoes, peas, broccoli, corn, lettuce, squash, onions, garlic, radishes, and potatoes to The Brew. Customers get the choice of a free vegetable with every coffee order. Caffeine is not really good for you, says Terrastina, that’s why I have produce, so people can get something healthy to eat when they come in here. Some customers take the food, but most are completely content with just the coffee.
