Episode 246: Insight

The twins walk with Terrastina past the day care center near the house. Parents collect their children and strap them into car seats. The twins stop and watch. Terrastina looks down at them. What’s going on? she says. The twins are mesmerized by one little girl, less than two years old. They stare at her. She looks back at them and lifts her hand in a simulation of a wave. The twins wave back, then resume their walk with Terrastina. What was that all about? asks Terrastina. Oh, say the twins, nothing much. She’s just a very old soul.
