Around midnight Terrastina arranges four lawn chairs in the backyard to face the moon. Mazolli pours pretzels and chips into a couple of big bowls. The twins take the bowls outside. You’ve never seen an eclipse before, says Terrastina. It’s going to be a great show. You will love it. The twins settle into the big lawn chairs and lean back. Their elbows barely reach the arm rests. Mazolli carries a six pack of soda outside. They all munch snacks and sip their drinks. The twins fall asleep long before the shadow of the Earth falls across the Moon.
