Episode 210: Observing the Master at Work

Terrastina brings home new pots for her plants. She spreads newspaper on the kitchen floor and gathers up all the house plants: her aloe vera, amaryllis, spider plants, impatiens, begonia, and philodendrons. The twins come in and sit quietly, watching her work. She carefully removes the plants from their old small pots and nestles them into their new bigger homes, murmuring soothing words the whole time. She delicately packs black soil around the root systems, then moistens them with a generous helping of water. When she is finished the twins help her gather the newspaper into a big ball.
