Episode 117: Reframing

A customer at The Brew tells Mazolli there’s a bald eagle nest down by the river next to the bridge over the creek. At one thirty Terrastina and Mazolli lock the doors without bothering to clean up, grab the binoculars, and walk down to the river. They see a nest of gray sticks atop a tall snag in a copse of cedars. Terrastina looks through the binoculars. Do you see anything? asks Mazolli. Ah nuts, says Terrastina. That’s no bald eagle, just an osprey. Oh, says Mazolli, as disappointed as Terrastina. Well, he continues, ospreys are noble creatures too.
