Episode 112: Asking Too Much

The twins ask to learn the piano. You mean you want to take piano lessons? asks Terrastina. We want to play the songs they play at school, they answer. Terrastina finds a music teacher in town who works with children. She drives the twins to their first lesson and waits in the living room. The teacher tells the twins stories of when he first learned to play the piano. The twins listen for twenty seconds, then their attention wanders. The teacher tells Terrastina the twins are not ready. They don’t live for music, he says. I cannot teach them.
