Episode 105: Private Time

Terrastina puts on an old record and dances all the way through it. When it ends she plays it through again. She doesn’t dance the second time through, just sits in the living room, listening. She immediately plays the record a third time, and then a fourth. On the sixth time through Mazolli asks her what’s going on. What do you mean? she says. You keep listening to the same album over and over, says Mazolli. Terrastina looks at Mazolli’s moving mouth and she knows noise is coming out, but she doesn’t want to understand any of the words.
