Episode 102: Knocked Down a Peg or Two

Mazolli teaches the twins to play checkers. They take to it right away, absorbing the rules and the basics of strategy in minutes. They love the shivering sound the checkers make as they slide over the board. They especially enjoy thumping down their checkers as they jump over Mazolli’s checkers. Crown us! they say in unison when one of their checkers gets to the last row of squares. You two are getting way too good for me, says Mazolli. I think you’re a couple of checker geniuses.
