Episode 100: The Art Circuit

Terrastina drives into the woods to a trailhead near a creek flanked by a stand of old growth. She walks the trail, high above the creek, and spends a couple of hours filling her sketchbook with drawings. As the light fades she begins walking back to the car. The sketchbook slips from her hand and tumbles down the slope to the creek far below. The current is swift and the water is foamy white. She watches her drawings float downstream. Within an hour the creek will deliver her sketches to the big river. Eventually the ocean will display them.
