Episode 86: Cancer Sticks

Terrastina makes a collage to honor her father. She glues a black and white photo of him at the top of the board, then applies fluorescent paint to the eyes, forehead, hair, brows, and chin. She tilts her head left, then right. Terrastina’s father collected stamps and played chess. She cuts chess diagrams out of chess magazines and glues them around the portrait. She pastes foreign stamps in rows on all four sides. She opens a pack of his favorite cigarettes, shreds the pack, then pastes the pieces under the picture, precisely where his lungs should still be breathing.
