Episode 83: Water Witch

Terrastina gets a call from a woman whose well has gone dry. My friend tells me you dig wells, she says. Can you help me? I haven’t done that in years, says Terrastina. I am desperate, says the woman. I’ll pay you double whatever you used to charge. Terrastina retrieves her equipment from storage and drives to the woman’s place. I’m so glad you came, she says. No one around here seems to know how to dig wells anymore. Yes, says Terrastina. She takes out her divining rod and begins walking the woman’s land. It’s mostly a lost art.
