Episode 81: Bad News

Mazolli takes the car to Tread City to get the tires rotated. While he’s waiting, he helps himself to some of the free popcorn the store provides for its customers. They make it all day in a machine that looks like a phone booth designed for very short people. The television near the ceiling displays an all news channel. Mazolli listens to hard luck stories of some current politicians and celebrities. A mechanic comes and tells Mazolli there is a tear in the side of one of his tires. If you don’t replace it, he says, you could die.
