Episode 238: Business as Usual

Mazolli gets to The Brew early to prepare for business. He finds the back door swinging open in the wind. Inside, the tables and chairs are upended, coffee bags are ripped open, and coffee beans scattered everywhere. Mazolli calls the police, then phones Terrastina to tell her the news. An officer arrives and asks Mazolli if he left the door unlocked yesterday. What if I did? asks Mazolli. Does that mean it’s okay for a vandal to come in and wreck our business? Take it easy, says the officer. This is my job. I have to ask these questions.
