Episode 274: Wonderland

A surprise ice storm cuts off power for a day and a half. Ice builds up on buildings, signs, streets, cars, and trees. Branches and large limbs begin falling to the ground, accompanied by loud cracks, like thunder. Terrastina, Mazolli, and the twins huddle near the fireplace. They bring blankets and pillows from their rooms and sleep in a semi circle around the flames. In the morning they hear icicles fall from the house and skitter across the ice covered lawn. They look through the windows. Everything glows in the sunlight, each object wrapped in its own ghost image.
