Episode 340: Time Will Tell

A customer at The Brew gives Terrastina a cactus. Terrastina plants it in the ground at the front of the house where it looks right at home next to the hydrangea and rhododendron bushes. A cactus? asks Mazolli. Don’t they need dry climate? Terrastina considers this. I think they can survive in dry climate, she says, but I don’t think they need a dry climate. I’ve heard about the big cactuses in Arizona, says Mazolli. The bats pollinate them. Do you think this cactus will attract bats? Doubt it, says Terrastina, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
